Crude gas produced, utilised and flared by each of Iraq's federal national oil companies in 2023, as the companies declared it to the Iraq Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative. Together they flared 515,663 million standard cubic feet (about 14.6 billion cubic metres), 45.3% of the gas they produced. Missan (73%) and Dhi Qar (78%) flared most of their gas; North Oil flared 8%.
